Auckland – Mystery Cruise & Visit to Private Ford Car Collection – Sunday 27th September
The Escort Car Club have asked us to join them in a mystery cruise, mostly in rural Franklin for an hour and arriving in Waiau Pa at a private collection of Classic Escorts, Cortinas, Capris etc. After the visit if you wish,you can head to Clarkes Beach for a photo opportunity then head to Clarkes Beach Golf Club for a bite to eat.
This sounds like an excellent way to spend your Sunday afternoon, and its daylight saving so you get an extra hour.

- Gates open from 7am Friday, Saturday and 8am Sunday.
- Cash ONLY at the Gate.
- Sites bookings for sale of goods open for Swap Meet 2026.
- All site bookings to be confirmed and paid by 25 September, no gate sales.
- Advertising of complete cars for sale beside the main display area
- Entry through VCC main entrance (Gate 2) and follow the signs, cost $10 per car.
- NO DOGS allowed on site or in parking areas

We are heading back to the Mt Wellington Restaurant inside the Waipuna Hotel, as people that went last year agreed it was a great meal, venue and was topped off with great company, with a great turn out by our members. Everyone agreed it was excellent value for the buffet lunch. Even better the tide is in this year, to look out over the Panmure Lagoon. Bonus is parking is not a problem.
This is a pre-paid event – please drop me an email if you are joining us, as I need approximate numbers.
